Entry #15 - Maine
So, my vacation to Maine didn't go as well as I had hoped. The house we rented for the week appeared great on the outside, and the pictures on the website were nice-- but, what we didn't know was that they were pictures of the upstairs portion of the house; we had only rented the downstairs. The downstairs was small and cramped, and there was absolutely nothing there. There wasn't even any toilet paper! The woman that rented the house to us stated in a letter that we would have everything we needed, except towels and bed sheets. There weren't even hangers in the closets for our clothes.

There isn't much to tell, really; I'm a 25 year old blonde who lives in the most boring part of Upstate New York. I enjoy writing fanfiction (when I'm not too damn lazy), and I have a lot of fun roleplaying online with friends. I'm definitely a pro gamer girl-- been playing video games since the NES, which is ancient history now. I'm also into anime and manga, and a collector of yaoi doujinshi (a guilty pleasure of mine ♥ ).
I have a tendency to fangirl anime characters, but hopefully that doesn't scare anyone away, haha. I'm generally a very nice, somewhat shy person, who prefers to stay in and curl up with a good book, or movie, than go out. Although I do love a good martini.

That's ok :0) I've done that a couple times with Halo actually. Some games can get quite addictive heh heh. My vacation was alright but very short. I was in Vegas for about 19 hours total so I couldn't do much. I did however do that thing I told you I was gonna do. I went up to a slot machine and I said "This is for Kristen-chan." I didn't win, at least I think I didn't. I didn't know what was really going on, just a bunch of flashing lights and random sounds. No money came out so I assumed that I lost. I just shrugged it off and I rejoined the family. That's pretty much all the excitement of my trip. Ha ha

Sorry it took me a little while to respond, ha ha. How have you been? Keeping busy? I've been busy with work mostly. I realized the other day that I have been working for about 4 weeks without a day off. It's hard to believe that this is my first day off in a while. I've been a bit tired but that's to be expected from working so much right? How are Lily and Toby doing by the way?

What exactly would you like to know about me? I could tell you just the basic stuff but that's all boring. Ask me anything that you would like to know about me and I will try my best to answer them.
Other than just the normal playing video games, watching anime and movies; I like Thinking. I don't know if that would be considered a hobby though. What do you think? I like writing very small stories, I actually just started writing a few days ago. I like to Travel every once in a while. I have a whole week to go anywhere in the U.S. Any suggestions?
